Also unable to login keeps checking for updates and says Connection error :( been like this for almost an hour and I missed the chance to upgrade my rank in fleet challenge :(

Game was fine until about 10:15am Pacific time, West coast, usa.

Game won't load.
Seems to be stuck at, "checking for updates".

Tried rebooting device, using mobile data, and tried using wifi.

can't login :'( checking for updates screen then connection error

What exactly are you paying for right now? If you can play, you have no loss. If you can't, it's also impossible to spend. Nothing happening is remotely connected to cause for refunds.

Stuck in this loop as well. Playing on iOS. I have restarted the game, restarted my phone and even deleted the app and reinstalled it; all to no avail. Been experiencing this for about 45 mins already.
