I kid... I know you like your pass+ but they're still going to have to do better than that if they want my money. Offering to make the game mode less tedious in exchange for cash is not how they're going to get me to open my wallet. I would argue that less tedious should be the base-line and then offer added value as an incentive to spend.
Give me the ice cream and charge me for the sprinkles. Don't give me a job and charge me for the tools.
To your point, I agree that they improved the pass plus - but it's very telling that the value they added allows you to play less conquest instead of making you want to play more.
