Episode Pass value, it needs more zetas

Has nothing to do with what you say. They use an internal, proprietary algorithm to determine the best amount of scarcity. If they flood the game with zetas it speeds up everyone's progress and cuts into their profits rather than increasing them. Also, you don't sub the episode pass more due to affordability issues vs perceived value. I can pay for the cost of the base $20 episode pass sub in LESS than 20 mins at work based on my hourly rate.

Kind of my point. They want 20 minutes of my labor… for a half a zeta? Satisfaction value for cost isn’t adding up.

I mean that’s two hours of pick up hockey, two whole chickens, 3 joints, or a 12 pack. And they’re not even going to give me the joy of 1 upgrade for a game? 

episode pass saves me 3900 crystals per character from the 20 shards alone.  so 7800 crystals per month.  i’m not really worried about zetas after that fact and i think you’re not looking at the overall value of the pass. 

I think you and the eggheads are forgetting that the average player and buyer isn’t tracking the crystals saved or the shards acquired, it’s the light show at the payoff. Gamblers don’t keep playing because they’re trying to break even, they play to get the feeling that comes when they win.

Looking at the pass and knowing, I get no 7* toons and no zetas and no omnis… isn’t satisfying.

what are you talking about? it saves me 7800 crystals plus gives me all the “stuff” besides the 20 shards per marquee.  now granted i’d never spend 50 bucks a month to get 7300 crystals BUT 20 bucks to save me from spending the 7800 crystals i was spending each month already to open up 4* level on marquees PLUS 5 brains, 5 keypads, however many omnis, zetas, impulse detectors, slicing mats etc etc clearly makes this a good deal.  

Even if you weren’t opening up the 4 star level it’s still great cause you’re getting your 7 star marquee either 40 days sooner, 20 days + saving 500 crystals, 13.33 days + 975, 10 days + 1750 depending on how many refreshes you do while farming PLUS all that other stuff again. 

I’ll take the extra 10 zetas that you seem to feel it needs but i’m not going to agree it needs it because it doesn’t.  it’s the best value in the game right now. 

Again, I’m not keeping a spreadsheet to check the value. I’m sure it’s a great value. But that doesn’t matter. Slots don’t make money because they’re the most valuable, they make money by being the flashiest.

The entire episode update ignores that for “value”. GC are a perfect example. There was a big “Max Chest” that I tried to get to. Now I get more rewards but it’s just a bunch of check boxes. It’s boring and I barely care about it. It used to make me happy, now it’s just a chore.

I spend $20 on things for value all the time… I don’t spend $20 on entertainment that bores me.

i hear you and find your statement completely valid.  that said,  i don’t think 10 more zetas is going to fix the boredom.  honestly the old system was just as boring as this one but cg called your attention to it only 8 times a month not everyday.  I think if you truly thought about it, its not the red crates you miss but it’s the 20 days of not thinking about it.
