- SnuggeSnuggles4 years agoSeasoned AceOk so this Conquest is so far better than the previous grindquest but not anywhere near the quality of the first ones. But I understand CG doesn’t want too much fun as that make the players spend less according their business intelligence metrics. Fine. But now is the time then to actually test the min/max parameters of the game for when the game breaks. You can’t just buff the opponents in an arbitrary fashion and hope it’s still playable. For example at the later stages when you add insane amounts of speed to overprepared max relic teams the tm gain take precedent over bonus turn abilities that should be instant.
You also need to have some logic to handle “exponential” growth of buffs/debuffs which can be achieved with some disk combos. It’s just bad when the game freezes because you handle that with some inefficient for/while-loop that eats resources on the device.
There’s a lot of these glitches that’s becoming more frustrating when every battle counts. It was ok with galactic challenges because you could retry without a penalty. But now WE get penalized for YOUR lack of quality control. And it’s an extra grievance when part of your “solution” for this is the addition of battle pass that makes it so obvious that your incentive of actually fixing things is close to 0. It’s just so cynical and transparent what your business ethics are. - perfidius444 years agoSeasoned NewcomerI still find some of the feats to boring (kill 50 and win 14), but on the whole i like it better than the first ones. The hard path is an improvement and the feats that give a data disk which unlock new feats is fun. Some boss battles are creative and shake things up a bit.
On the whole it’s fun enough for me to accept some boredom and go for the red crate, even if even less grind would be very much appreciated. "Starslayer;c-2337206" wrote:
If people get the Cooling system after they already get the red crate, then they didn’t need the Cooling system to get the red crate. It gives a chance to people who are locked behind a node/feat they can’t beat to spam battles, unlock this awesome data disk and still have a few days to advance on the conquest and maybe get a better crate.
So if someone is stuck in sector 4, you want them to burn over 100 extra battles to unlock a data disk for a chance to maybe complete it? Crystal-wise that would be obscenely expensive and they'd need alot more than a few days unless they're spending way too many crystals.- Whatelse734 years agoSeasoned AceAnd the LV Sector 4 boss was built into the Lord Vader players should have gotten from the start. this feels like a leftover from the last conquest.
Overall it's an improvement, just a few glitches and bugs along the way. Once in a while there's a regular node where the team feels like they've still got overcharged 60%, but it seems manageable.
Thanks for the vast improvement and listening to us on this one, it's a good start! - M0st1yHarm1ess4 years agoSeasoned Ace

Well it is just an option. 120 battles = 1000 crystals. That's some fair amount but not prohibitive. Certainly better than having the only option of giving up. - I now feel this is the worst one yet. I was having a good time thinking this was a return to enjoying the conquest. Not any more. A 7.6m account and can't beat lv. I have spent over 300 crystals, watched every video, and I have only ever killed rg, and that only twice. To me, this is nothing but a crock of poodoo. I have gone from max crate in the first two, to crate 5, now can't even finish. I will never think cg has the players in mind again. After 5 years of playing, I should have realized this earlier

Just going to add an adendum to this, still ridiculous that some characters, like nightsisters in sector 5, can not only outrun my Galactic legends, but from the start of the match are attacking TWICE every time my Galactic Legend moves. NS in Sector 5 are 1100 speed before they even get ichor? Really?
Probably a tad overboard on that. "sndnichols;c-2337262" wrote:
