Conquest harder again...?

You'll notice neither ZA or Entrenched are in the list, so don't bother waiting on them for anything. Vitality IS in the list but I didn't run across one in any of the sectors.

I'm not finding it harder - but it does feel WAY more grindy than the last conquest. I think this is primarily because I can't really use my wookies or phoenix to advance - I've got to repeat the sector 1 bonus node with those two teams to get those feats. Then 40 battles with clones and 40 battles with malgus... these '40 battles' feats are really annoying, but they always have been.

Also, using the TE disk build is counter productive for the 'get x kills with y' sector feats - so I'm having to push those back so I don't waste energy with disk swaps.

I typically really enjoy conquest - and this one has been ok so far - but I'm not enjoying it as much as previous conquests. I will say that they've done a great job with the boss fights. Aside from those minor highlights though, it's really been a slog.

Has not been my experience either, but I do miss the defensive disks: those are great for undergeared squad feats.

Harder in the respect that if you have the blow everyone up disk set up, you can't get the kill feats done. I'm finding it a bit more difficult just because I don't have all relic geos and I haven't found a good node for rebel fighters. I'm hearing the Phoenix feat in sector 5 if bugged, but I haven't gotten there yet. That will definitely be fixed by next time anyways. The all Phoenix surviving feat isn't easy either with a 3* rex and g12 ezra and kanan. Too many toons need relics that I only have at g12. No ZA, entrenched or fortified disks make a big difference this time too. I prefer the that set up to the dots and bombs one.

I got a deadly catalyst disk and some ruthless swiftness in sector 1. It has not been difficult in the slightest. It's all down to the disks.

Well..got the point...my SPECIFIC disk combo was nerfed, hence my issue...no ZA and Entrenched...so i need to adapt :)
I used to use some of the combos above...but changed back to a ZA based combo when i got stronger teams as the "enemy blows itself" technique looks odd to me...
Guess they want us to use it...and i do have the disks...

AGAIN...it may be that i dont have the fortified, vitality disks...ironically...the FIRST vitality disk i found is BEHIND them :)

Do you have Raddus?

I won’t say it’s hard but it’s definitely more of a grind in some aspects. They definitely need to maintain the challenge aspect without the grinds, the 40 battle feats are a bit ludicrous. When it came out it was advertised to also be fun and engaging but those feats are generally annoying.

I don’t understand why people don’t get what an impact the disks have on their preferred ‘strategies’.

When the disks change conquest doesn’t become harder, you just can’t use exactly the same approach you did in the previous seasons. Instead, you have to actually think and work out how the new disks should be implemented. It’s not harder, just different.
