I would just keep trying it with the guys you have left and not waste your training droids on FOTP unless you plan on starring him up (which is a very long process). Node 11 does not give out any more GW tokens, node 12 will give you 400 more. If your team dies before you can retreat just force close the app and it will be as if the battle never happened.
