Daily deal with shards

How many days in a row of not buying the deal does it take before the daily deal might offer me something I want? Signal data, with no other dross to dilute the value is what I want to use my crystals on. That's it. They were rare enough before, but now there seems to be no chance at all. 

I see no point at all in spending my crystals on character shards. I'm not going to spend enough to get Baylan unlocked on his first run, so those shards are of no interest. There are still (by my guess) at least two more Ahsoka marquees coming, so DTP, NT and gold face guy I can't think of right now will easily be farmed with minimal refreshes by the time I double refresh the last one.

You want me to spend my crystal stash? Let me have more influence over the daily deal. The stash is just going up and up, and I know you don't want that.
