I would need a year to farm a toon on a single node without refreshing and I can get GK to 7* in 6.5 months.

I don't understand people saying it's rewarding to 7* a character on a single hard node when it's only clicking once a day on a button. What is rewarding is preparing teams to be able to run the HAAT to unlock GK, not farming hard nodes.
