His ship is good, not that there's not a lot of competition there, but he isn't a particularly strong hero and has little use outside a Kenobi sink team. Clone Sarge is good in the HAAT too.
But the principle of the thing is that no hero should be a hard node except for newly released characters that the devs are trying to get players to buy (because someone has to pay for the game). There's no reason for hard node only farms, as this thread has clearly demonstrated.
