Whats your team? I used Emp. P(L) and Vader (G9), TFP and GMT (G8) and Snowtrooper (G7). Had okay mods and a plus thirty speed mod on GMT and TFP. All lv85

Why so hard? Because R2 is an amazing character in game. He should be hard to get. Not to mention tons of people, including free to play have him.

Be prepared next time. The thrawn event is even harder. CLS isn’t a walk in the park either. Do your research. There are tons on posts on here with what it takes.

1. It’s hard because R2 is one of the best toons in the game.
2. It is easily done with lvl 80 chars.
3. You don’t need more than average G9 for it to be manageable and not RNG dependent.
4. You DO need good mods!
5. You DO need maxed abilities and lots of omegas.
6. You don’t need zetas.
7. Difficulty is more or less unchanged from before the Ep4 rebel pass. Devs confirmed this the last time R2 was around.
8. Start working on improving your team for next time (if you don’t already have him, get Thrawn).

So with that statement you are saying since you did not pass it, it then is impossible (not enough).

I disagree, you not being able to pass it does not prove it is impossible.

I had hit and miss with r2, on one device I got him with g10 vader and palp, g8 Tarkin, g7 magma & snow trooper, not bad mods, but missed on the other witha g9 vader and not as good mods. Got close though. Hoping to have TFP and maybe RG or Thrawn next time and vader at g10.
