Veers, Tarkin, Gar, and DK also have pretty strong leader skills for DS in PVE. Sid has a viable one in PVE especially with Sith and the stacking offense across waves. Maul's lead is strong. Boba.
With a NS rework making that faction TB viable and a touch-up on old classic Empire toons like they did with Han / Leia / OB you'd have a lot to work with for DS to build 4 viable teams + platoons.

Then organize yourself and spread the pain out. The poster listed 7 characters with strong leader abilities, there are at most 3 teams needed per phase. You use 3, stick the other 4 into the platoon. Make sure other folks in your guild are organized so they're using a different 3 and sticking their other 4 into the platoon.
