he's worth it but he's nothing special either. i'm working on him when i get something he needs. i use him occasionally in GW buts he's nothing great yet. he's a squishy POS most of the time unless you have the right toons with him.

He's currently the #1 most used hero in rank 1 squads on GG. 60% usage. Next closest is EP at 50% - so a pretty solid gap. I know these usage stats aren't the final say on everything, but I think calling him nothing special is a bit of an undersell.

Agree, he is far from being a POS. There's something to be said if those of us at the top of our shards are using him in high numbers

Yup, only teams I don't see Nihilus in are full FO squads, full R1 squads, zQGJ full jedi teams and some of the Rex/GK/Chaze teams that have Zylo in there instead of Nihilus. But to put that in perspective: Theres 1 full FO squad in my top 20, 1 R1 team in the top 20, 1-2 zQGJ in the top 20 and probably 3-4 Rex teams that don't have DN in them. So like 13 of the top 20 have DN. Theres only 7 zeta Maul leads in my top 20.

Yeah even in my mildly disappointing shard of wiggs players and brain damaged whales, the few that run dark side teams outside of me, all have a DN in their squad (aside from one player)

Yeah, but the bigger point is that it's not JUST darkside teams running Nihilus. Only 7 zeta mauls means theres like 5 or 6 rex/GK teams in there with Nihilus. He can be used in many different teams, they're just using rex lead to counter zeta maul, but he could be plugged into the next leader ability counter team just as easily.

Yep exactly, he is seriously one of the best stand alone characters in this game that works well anywhere. He is insane under a sith lead or as a sith leader himself but he certainly is extremely useful outside of that for sure. To say he is a POS is extremely shortsighted (or a sign that person hasn't used him to his potential)
