Darth Vader
Wouldn’t it make more sense for the new character to be Darth Vader (Anakin) than General Skywalker? Darth Vader (Anakin) would have to get the 501st tag because that’s who he led into the Jedi Temple...

First they are all ls characters.
Second, none of them were still serving in the 501st when anakin fell. Fives was dead, ahsoka had left the jedi. Rex had left (though I don't remember the details of why. I haven't watched clone wars or rebels lately). And I'm pretty sure echo was also gone by then.
So if we get a pre-suit vader, we'd need 501st stormtroopers for him to synergize with.
Now that is entirely possible but if we get a pre suit vader it'll be a new faction he works with.
Or he just works with Sith, special synergy with Darth Sidious. Could also get DS 501st like Commander Appo. And if Lord Vader, as I like to call him, does get synergy with Sidious maybe we could get a Sidious rework?
I could see him working well with sideous but probably not with the sith faction as a whole. When darth revan came out all of his synergies were specifically with sith empire faction and not just sith. We just have too many good sith for a presuit vader to synergize with them all. And not to mention most people already have two or more teams of sith at g12 so it wouldn't be much of a paywall.
That's why I think 501st stormtroopers would be the way they go. Gives everyone 5 new toons to gear and the whales will want it right now so that makes them money.
But as I said in another post, we won't likely get that right away at least. The next meta will likely be ls since it's currently ds.
