Datacron Disaster: Massive Resource Loss and Poor QA

i had put around 3000 crystals in dtc rerolls and materials, i had an 100% protection dtc that i rerolled multiple times ( to make a good protection kelleran beq barris team) . 

this has been a waste of time and resources.

retire this datacron and be over with.

My anger has turned to frustration. The loss of time and resources and a pretend “ooops”

10,000 crystals wouldn’t compensate me for the time and total resources I spent.

Yep, same here. Been playing daily from the game start, 99% F2P (bought a couple of the cheap packs 🙂)

Coliseum and the era level game play; character, obtaining and levelling, I have completely no interest in....it's slow and boring.

I thought I'd struggle through the Relic data debacle (I only really like GAC) and settle into a 'fair' bracket over time. So I spend a lot of time flying through conquest as fast as I can and using all my F2P resources to get as many Datacrons as possible to try and stay competitve. I had one attacker cron, but many support and tank ones, that cost a load of resources to re-roll, and now I have nothing.

The only reason I played this game was because of the Star Wars IP, but this really is the final straw for me. Maybe just casual gaming (for nostalgia sake.....10 years!!)

Looking forward to the new SW game, change is as good as a rest 😁  

Man, I am very thankful to EA, that they are making such great movements, since they put Coliseum, I stopped spending money/crystals in new toons, cause I am not such dumb to spend money on heroes which I will get only after 3 months :)))  and it's completely pay2win, I can buy this packs, but **bleep** not interested at all, before yes I spend on new toons, cause I wanted them, and I could play them after 1 week farming, now :) thanks nope ... this R10 that's something special, spend money, get R10 after 10 weeks farming, but before this resources for R9 was 1500 crystal value ... now please 100 euro, for not even complete set of material, thanks again, but nope, this 100 euros I will spend on something dumb and now this datacrons, I got full nice inventory of this long text all of them ... now only 1, and it's enough :))) for rerolling datacrons, I spend 1800 materials, please give me them back ;) not this junk, which I've received on email ;) 

Never posted here. 10 yr player. I want to add my voice to the outrage about this DC cancellation. I spent so many resources and real money to build crons and the refund leaves me so much worse off. Particularly reroll mats. Not including the time and wasted changes in strategy for relics etc. Absolutely unacceptable CG. Do something!!

The incompetence CG displayed here... it's unbelievable.

I really do appreciate the quick lane-change- no I don’t think it will fairly represent the work that some put into this dc set vs the lack of work that others did but maybe this is the best that can be done with this mess.

I actually can’t believe how mad I was. I play this game to relax and escape but I was so angry I was having chest pain. That’s a wake up calm to me- I don’t need to eat any extra bs sandwiches.

Cannot add much more to this post, you nailed it.  If I performed this way at work, I would be put on a PIP and let go 6 months later, but at CG it seems like it is a badge of honor to continue to screw up this bad and still have players spend money.

@CG Clearly your players understand business practice better than you do. Your professionalism has been questionable, and after this last month+ it is blatantly poor.  Time for a reorg and new leaders.   Make SWGOH fun again!!!! 

Before the reset, I had multiple fully upgraded Datacrons built using MK1, MK2, and MK3 materials.

From what I can still verify in GAC (saved before enrollment), I had:

• 14 Datacrons upgraded to Level 9
• 21 Datacrons upgraded to Level 6, broken down as follows:
– Attacker: 8
– Defender: 4
– Support: 3
– Healer: 3

Unfortunately, I cannot count Datacrons created after GAC lock, but the ones listed above are still visible in GAC and clearly prove my prior progression.

At the moment, all MK1, MK2, and MK3 materials already spent are gone, and all affected Datacrons have been reset.

This situation is extremely frustrating, as it represents a significant loss of time and resources invested into the game.

CG’s incompetence is reaching unprecedented heights. Speaking as a seasoned professional—and trust me, I know exactly what I’m talking about—this level of performance is a joke for any dev team. In any company that actually respects itself, the entire SWGOH staff would have been kicked to the curb by now. Not just the devs; the whole **bleep** lot of them. How can you have so little self-respect and professional integrity that you’re comfortable vomiting this garbage into production for your players?
