- Don't like Datacrons, still don't "engage" with them, still don't want them..
CG, that's my feedback. I don't waste my resources on your temporary ones... - NotRealUltra3 years agoSeasoned Newcomer

Still waiting on an answer about the farming mats. Are we getting the same amount spread over 2 months (i.e. rate halved)? Or are we getting twice as many mats per set going forward?
i asked but CG has gone offline so remind me to ask again on monday noon EST!
God forbid that we get a direct answer from ONE of our TWO CM's. Why do we have to have a middle-person Community manager? No offense to your Ultra. I've always wondered what could possibly fill Crumbs day soooooo much that he ignores the community so much.
But on the topic: delete datacrons.
Two community managers for two games
They aren't reading everything, just some posts, and they are only online during working hours, so it helps that if any important question arises throughout the day, I can forward it to them for an answer - "For the past 6+ Years, our ultimate goal is to create a fun experience in Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes and we will continue to follow that mission."
Adds dodge chance to the stat pool, one of the most frustrating and hated things in the game. - Community message: Datacrons kill the game. Can the Devs see it? Can the Devs read it? Can the Devs understand it? Or the Devs the three ? s? Can't see, can't hear, can't say....?
- That post by Meathead earlier was the most hilarious thing I’ve read in awhile. Saying how fun and exciting Datacon’s are and those questions he made up about random unimportant issues was classic.

They seems to have missed or ignored the “ Datacrons are killing the fun” or “datacrons remove the skill” or “ datacrons are adding too much screen time”.
A vast majority of people, that I’ve seen, here, Reddit and on YouTube all hate datacrons. Where the response to that?
OK, I have to disagree with this first part. You know what removes the skill? A stale meta where you know with 100% certainty that Team A beats Team B without having to apply any thought. Addressing that by releasing enough new characters to change that meta at a high cadence isn't practical and would be cost prohibitive (particularly when including gear, relic materials, etc) to players.
Now, Datacrons as they are currently implemented are bad. The concept of them to remove that certainty is a good thing though. I am happy to see attempts at incremental change to address this and get the concept to work even if I think the latest iteration is not much better for the reasons the OP indicated.
Unfortuantely, if your feedback is "yuck get rid of them" then I'm sorry to say that while it's going to be heard it isn't going to lead to any constructive change.
Let's instead focus on the actual problems with the Datacrons - making GLs more overpowered is bad; infinite turn loops are bad; negating opposing attacks are bad. This is feedback that may get listened to and lead to improvements in the game mechanic that in its current form is indeed bad for the game.
It takes lots of skill to find counters for all the faction in the game meta or not!!! Veteran players might put in a squad that nobody rarely uses like Darth maul led sith. Now of hand can you think of a counter for that?? If $$CG$$ did some toon reworks every once in a blue moon like Marvel Strikeforce does about every 3-6 months to keep the game fresh and fun to play none of this Datacon garbage would be needed. I admit that omnicron’s were a wonderful addition for some toons that haven’t been used in years like my ROLO for LSGEOTB was the best choice I’ve made so far but using her twice a month only for TB and absolutely nothing else is pretty lame. Why can’t the greedy Dev’s update and upgrade 1 of 2 perennial benchwarmers like Mob enforcer? They certainly don’t requiring these dumpster dwellers for ChoreQuest feat’s.- wharp953 years agoSeasoned NoviceI think datacrons are fun in general, everyone talk about this or that mechanic is too powerfull and I agree, datacrons are not balanced and too random to obtain specifics ability and this is why people find them annoying.
CG is making the same mistakes again and again:
Power creep, it is a poor game design that only fit P2W.
Lacks of interaction with their community, they may talk to moderators, but that's it. I'm sure if a CM makes some polls, there will be far more interesting "data". - Good changes. I agree with the. Of course they also profit the devs themselves, because they can return to a more lazy programming.
But I do agree with three sets being to much and the cadence is too fast to fully enjoy the crons.
Set 4 will be OP and will provide us the long awaited ROI on LV. - Ultra made a mess of it, it's mostly here
