Datacron Set 4 + Feedback Response Information [MEGA]

Nobody seems to really like datacrons, that much is true. But seems like we could somehow manage to live with them if there were not GL specific bonuses each season.

Can we at least try getting rid of that aspect of them and then see how it works?

CG does listen. No one wants to play the sith raid anymore and they said they would make it simmable 3 years ago. The problem is they don't do anything about it :)

They listened, and their response was a big, "FUCK YOU! BEND OVER FOR DATACRONS! NOW, PAY US!"

We said, "We don't datacrons."

They read, "More datacons."

They don't care what we say. Every time anyone uses a datacron it encourages CG. Don't use them.

I'm F2P. 100%. I've never spent a cent. I've earned every GL, Execuor, SK... Datacrons came along and erased all that work. If I don't get great rolls on every datacron (Kyber 2) or pay for them (Kyber 1), I can't win. Why should I engage with them at all? I can lose just fine without them and don't feel dirty for playing along with CG forcing us into something the vast majority of players don't want.

If we don't waste time or resources on them, CG won't waste time or resources on them. I don't use them. I'd rather be part of the solution than part if the problem. I'll probably drop down to Kyber 3 and win every time for a while.

I think if CG really wants to monetize re-rolls that badly, they should at least allow players to choose from 3 choices when leveling up datacrons to L3/6/9 without re-rolling

Instead of asking for the impossible, you should focus on, "okay, what can CG do for us, to make them tolerable and acceptable?"

If you gave feedback regarding that, you would've seen it this update, probably

It appears that the developers couldn’t care less about what the opinions of the majority of the community are, and are choosing to hide behind the “datacrons are fun and engaging” façade.

If a good amount of the player base ignores them and doesn't use them like myself I can guarantee you they'll go away

I actually would prefer if you guys go back to the non communication days. Less pollution and cleaner air that way. We all know what it is that comes out of your mouths.

When are you scrapping this terrible idea that your player base does not want?
