Why is it so hard to understand what I'm asking for? I'm aware the event will still occur. I'm aware the calendar in the forum indicates that it will still occur. I'm aware that the countdown notification is the only thing that is missing.
I'm asking for the countdown notification to be restored, or failing that, that the devs explain why it can't be done. I'm also asking that they stop putting a countdown notification in the game and then removing it later. All they are doing is creating confusion. You can argue, possibly with reason, that it shouldn't cause confusion, but that's irrelevant. The point is that it is causing confusion, regardless of whether that confusion is justified, and it's an easy thing to avoid.
