This is probably exactly why they would wait LONGER to bring him back the third time. They threw us a bone by bringing him back on the early side of things because he was required for JML. But now they want JML owners to feel like their investment was validated. If you didn't get him the second time around, that's on you.
If we get him for Christmas that will be very generous. Based on other cadences and the aforementioned reason of keeping JML owners happy, it wouldn't be unexpected to get him back mid-January.
would make more sense they bring him back very fast, because then they could grab panic-farm-money - waiting longer only let us prepare longer -> save unlock for everyone
That's exactly what they DID do. Brought him back early the second time to get a grab for JML. Everyone should be ready for him the third time regardless. - crzydroid5 years agoHero (Retired)

Third run? That's all on you.
STOP THIS TYPE OF POST!!!!
No it is not on anyone for missing JKL. Stop throwing gas on the fire. Wampa and Hermit Yoda are 3 to 6 month farms a piece. There is NO WAY to have framed them ahead of his second return. I had Hermit Yoda already. I started Wampa when JKL's requirements were announced, and it took me 115 days 7* him... Pouring EVERY bit of GET1 into it.
So no its not on anyone for not meeting a second return date which was the shortest of any Journey Character. Which happened before the 3 to 4 month cadence window detailed by CG in their cadence blog post. Not to mention that only 3 days notice was given on first release and 1 day notice on second return (Note CG said in the same cadence post this would be a week...)
https://forums.galaxy-of-heroes.starwars.ea.com/discussion/164741/dev-blog-character-release-and-event-cadence-3-30-2018
TopHat stated that, "And we want you to feel like you know when you can expect that stuff to return or how you’re going to get that stuff when it comes around, whether it’s the first time or the 100th time." In the above post... JKL has borken the cadence and release pattern set by CG. They can do that its thier game... But we can want his return, we can ask for his return, espically when the pattern that has been set isn't being followed...
Consider that if you didn't have these two finished long ago, you are a new player and your roster is not ready for JKL anyway. "Twi;c-2202938" wrote:
Bottom line, people want to play the game. People want the months long investment to payoff and enjoy characters they have farmed for.
JKL is a game changing character. He is also a gateway character to JML. Both of which are key for LS Geo TB, and do really good number in the new Pit Raid.
Why not let those who have chased him enjoy him as well...
Because he's coming and will be enjoyed. Just not in the exact number of days you want. You'll have to live with that fact, and none of your posts will change it, no matter how much you shout at me about my posts.
At least you'll have ShinyMando available whenever you're ready. Enjoy him. Not everything is for everyone."crzydroid;c-2202954" wrote:

Why the hostility? Why? And who are you to say how the game is supposed to be played?
Not to mention my roster is ready for JKL, is ready for JML (once JKL is released). I have gear for them both to R7 them.
(Also a month 1 player, with 4.3 million GP and SKLR already).
I don't get why you are attacking anyone on this forum for asking questions about release of an event that isn't following the release cadence stated by the developer...
All of us that are asking questions are showing support, are looking forward to content within the game, and are looking for clarification... Why attack that?
@CG_Doja_Fett is this really how such questions should be handled?- @Twi please go back and read the post you linked.
Here are some highlights that show they did not break it, and they are following exactly what they said.
Hero’s Journeys
Similar to Legendaries and Mythics, we have a concept of a New and Legacy Hero’s Journey.
The first two runs of a Hero’s Journey we consider New and will give at least a week’s notice before their launch.
Unlike a Legendary or Mythic, when a Hero’s Journey becomes a Legacy event we will not necessarily post it to the Event Calendar at the beginning of the month. However, the intention is that Hero’s Journey events will return roughly every three to four months after they become a Legacy event and that we will give at least a week’s notice before they return to the game. When we announce the return of the Hero’s Journey event, we will post it on the Event Calendar on the forums.
You can see here that first 2 runs are still new, and do not need to follow the 3-4 month timeline, so they didnt break it by launching it 83 days the first time. They may not have given the full notice, so there is that.
Now we are in the Legacy period, which means they will follow the 3-4 month period, so asking now that it is the beginning edge of that period is fine, it will not change the fact that he will launch when they want within the next month, as per the cadence.
It is clear and there is no need for a dev response to this matter as we have the cadence, which has not been broken as far as launch dates. "Kyno;c-2202980" wrote:

Why are you cherry picking what they follow in that cadence?
"The first two runs of a Hero’s Journey we consider New and will give at least a week’s notice before their launch." - This was not followed both times
"...in the initial two runs of the events, we believe players that have invested widely and made preparation for the event should be rewarded for their diligence." - As previously demonstrated two of the key requirements for the event Wampa and Hermt Yoda could not be farmed within the original announcement period and the conclusion of the second appearance. How is that "rewarding for their diligence".
Third, "It is clear and there is no need for a dev response to this matter as we have the cadence"... This is your opinion... Why don't we let the developers make the call?"Twi;c-2202990" wrote:

As a moderator here we have pushed for much of the documents you see regarding what will happen with releases, we did this so that the dev team doesnt need to respond to repeated questions of "known things". Its not my call, its documented and there is no need for then to comment that the document is correct.
I agreed with your first point, not cherry picking.
You want to argue the second point, but that is not stated, that is just how you feel. I don't see how players who farmed those shards without them being directly needed previously were not rewarded for thier diligence. Or players who stock up store materials to stay flexible for things like this for that matter.
Sure not everyone fits in to that situation, but that is not breaking the release cadence, by any means.- Thank you for the follow up @Kyno. And I appreciate the help the moderators do for the community.

I'm not sure how you read hostility into that statement. It's true that people have flexibility in how they do their rosters, but most older players farmed Wampa right away when he was released, and one of the reasons being there were guesses he would be needed for JKL who was expected in 2018.
This goes with Kyno's point that if you didn't start farming Yoda and/or Wampa until JKL was announced, you weren't being diligent. It's of course your perogative to choose what to farm. But CG is under no obligation to change the event releases because some people didn't have a start on the requirements, whereas many people had them finished for a while.
I will go so far as to agree with you though, that they did not give the promised 1 week's notice before the event returning the second time. On the other hand, it did last for 12 days, which is longer than the normal week's cadence. "crzydroid;c-2202729" wrote:

You're clearly out of your mind to say that.
They teased us in the trailer. The cadence is beginning to feel off. And I can guarantee you that I would dump a lot of money to get this character and JML.
Instead we have to wait a dumb cooldown that makes no sense. No one is happier that other people aren't getting JKL for 90+ days. This is just absurd.
Also, I'm still looking for a CG answer because @CG_Doja_Fett seems like a pretty chill and decent guy, unlike you mods that want to dictate how people play CG's game.
I'm asking a simple question. When he will return? They can say 30 days, I don't care.. I just want to know when.
