What you see all the time is "I took him to r3 and he sucks!" Would you take Jedi Master Kenobi to r3 and put him with crap GR characters and expect him to beat every other team?
With good relic levels, reasonable modding, and the right team I've been able to beat every GL except Kenobi (I haven't tried yet but I think it's doable) in TW. Outside of TW obviously he's not as good but he's still great in the right team. Under a BAM lead he'll be pulling in so much TM he pretty much goes non-stop and does a lot of really good things
actually the argument has been that for the investment required to get him he's not nearly as outstanding as one would expect. and no one here said r3 so idk what you're trying to prove there.
Also comparing him to a GL is really funny. We all know JMK without CAT isn't nearly as good as he is with her. Whether he's r3 or r7.
