Nobody said that the Omicrons themselves are garbage. Some of them are good.
They are however under the circumstances not what many people prefer. Most people prefer GAC Omicrons because it gives them more of an advantage. In TW it is a team effort and not as much needed, because you have the whole guild to get the job done. In GAC every slight advantage is needed.
It might have been different if they wouldn't have made GAC the main crystal source for many. I'm sure we would see a lot more TW Omicrons, if the changes wouldn't have happened.
