Do you think a 5* chimaera will be better than a 7* executrix?
There is a small chance to unlock chimaera but I don't know if I should stop my farming to focus on it or wait a few months to get it at 7*.

I've faced 3 G12 Thrawn, 7* Chimera ships in my arena - 2 had 1 zeta and the other had both zetas - so very near max Thrawn. The 2 zeta team had 450k ship power and he has all his starting pilots at G12. His total GP is over 3.2 million! My 7* Executrix smoked his team using 2 reinforcements and I had 5 pilots standing when I launched TIE Strike. The other two Thrawn players that had 1 zeta Thrawn had similar results. In the 3 battels, Thrawn never got to his end game special. I have Screen shot but can't post them at the moment, but in one of the battles vs. the 2 zeta Thrawn I killed his FOTP, damaged his Biggs, my Tarkin was 20% TM in to his 2nd turn ... but his Thrawn hadn't moved yet - still about 10% TM away from his first action.
For comparison, I don't run Reaper and my pilots are all G11 or less except for Vader - and even with Vader my TIE Adv is just 6* right now (late start on ships). My Starfighter pilots are G8 and my Scimitar is just 4*...so 390k power ship with just 1 G12 pilot took out, pretty easily, a full G12 pilot team with a 2x zeta, G12, 7* Chimera - he didn't use Reaper in the squad, but I can also farm Reaper as well so it goes both ways.
Thrawn's ship is very good, don't get me wrong, but it's not unbeatable and I'd definitely say a 7* Executrix is >>> than a 5* Chimera. I wouldn't even rule out Executrix being flat out better or at least as good even compared to a 7* Chimera. Of course new ships can come in and changes things and skew it toward Chimera heavily, but as of now I think the classic capital ships are still competitive.
