Do you think a 5* chimaera will be better than a 7* executrix?
There is a small chance to unlock chimaera but I don't know if I should stop my farming to focus on it or wait a few months to get it at 7*.

Yeah that skill was maxed. In fact, they each had all the skills maxed. I checked my screen shots at time of playing and also in game now. I just looked at the 3.2 mm GP player with all G12 pilots, he's sitting at rank 15 now despite a 2xzeta G12 thrawn and 7* Chimera.
EDIT: just fought a 4th battle vs. one of these guys - they actually had me down considerably early due to focus fire targeting and the TL + Biggs setup (so nothing to do with Thrawn specifically), but I still get to my end game special too fast and won with 4 ships still standing vs. his lone TFP as my TIE strike move came available.
I will say, Gauntlet Starfighter is a big ship to have in reserve vs. CHI ...that team dispel after his debuffing move + Protection up is massive. You're going to want TIE Reaper & GS if possible.
