Do you think a 5* chimaera will be better than a 7* executrix?
There is a small chance to unlock chimaera but I don't know if I should stop my farming to focus on it or wait a few months to get it at 7*.

I'd agree with that. Typically I get to only 2 reinfs and at most 3. Never callled in a 4th. There is benefit in having that option on offense though as Poe or Sarge's ships may be what you need to call in vs. a TFP for example, but don't want as a primary reinf. Also, stats from a 7* Cap Ship make a difference. My Exec picked up 5 speed going to 7*. Very noticeable difference.
