Does everyone get GK shards in heroic raid?

I don't have the toons to place high at all in a heroic AAT so I was just wondering how the reward system works. Does everyone gets shards once it's completed and if so how many per reward tier. Thanks for the info. (Tried looking it up but couldn't find what I was looking for)
