Even CG has acknowledged that feelings are relevant and was the reason they changed the zeta challenge drops. That was a solid they did to the community and there hasn’t been any complaining about it since very shortly after implemented.

Lol feelings are not relevant to the question of drop rates during double drops vs normal drops.
Care to explain how double drops make them money? You get 2x the stuff for the same crystals spent.
There's nothing to change with double drops. It's entirely to the player's benefit.
Why did feelings matter with the zeta drops and that didn’t even cost anyone crystals. When someone spends crystals to refresh and stock up for double drops and they go on a bad run that day it can feel bad and is relevant.- littlemac20145 years agoSeasoned Ace

I see the similarities between the 2, maybe even more so with double drops as it is a rare occasion and it’s no fun to go on a bad run during dd.
I don’t see how CG could change double drops though, even if they changed to a guaranteed higher drop rate, aside from 100%, there would still be RNG and bad runs.
