Were there tons of bits of information telling us that their target date was the 21st? Absolutely. But people who didn't see it as a giant red flag that they both refused to *officially* say that was the date, *and* immediately pulled a video that included that date? Come on. Thinking that the date was solid was the product of self-delusion, pure and simple, because everything about CG's behavior said that while the 21st was the target, they had no confidence they would hit it.
