DR event Doom and Gloom!

I think it should be more difficult for several reasons
1) There wording was that it would be a difficult task to reclaim the sith throne (i mean if said task was farming, ive done that, no skill)
2)Its more fun, Jedi revan event was put on auto and it'll work. heck you didnt even need to fully level up characters. The event was really dull masked by a character release.
3) Its in their interests to make people spend at least some gear (besides HK and Bastilla). The more gear people spend the more pressure on dolphins to replenish their stocks, Whales will always spend. But convincing people to farm a whole extra team will cause profits in future releases not just this one.

Events should not be as easy as Jedi revan events because that was one of the easiest first time round pve events in the games history. Yoda, Palpatine were much harder on release but powercreep has made them easy. Theres more ways to stock up gear now and g8 should not be the standard. Push the event to be at the very least Thrawn legendary and have g9 characters. and even then id want further and have at least g10 with super rng. g11 to clear more reliably

Nope not new. Maybe the coming of DR is really just fulfilling his role as Lord of the sith sowing anger, fear and hate across the galaxy of heroes. ;)

This is due to the fact that most people started a way different game years ago. Now the game is all about foreseeing the next evil move by the devs and preparing the wallet for it.

Nah, people are pretty frustrated at more or less everything. Finn rework, NS rework (for sith raid). Heck even on releases back when JTR came out, people complained because they thought she was awful, that going after the vets was a waste. In the end, the complaining was the worst bit, and it was typically not as bad in hindsight.

There's 1000's of threads of people complaining about TW or that GA has ships included or that the rewards arent enough.
How about when Jedi revan was said to be arriving so soon and few were prepared. That outrage caused people to go full steam ahead on this revan and now plenty more are ready despite the harder requirements (we have less nodes this time)
To me, one of the worst was when Rebels are ruling the meta and they released more rebel content in Empire month. Now Troopers have aged greatly, but the month wasnt fun to read on. I think Thrawn was near this time too, but cant remember. People complained about him too as an awful toon

Id actually say this is comparable to most other times toons are released

My favorite part is the claims that "everyone will have DR" due to the extra time compared to JKR, completely ignoring the fact that Jolee, Bastila and Zaalbar were all available on two nodes each (hard/fleet), while none of DR's prerequisites are dual-node farms and Carth is a brutal single fleet node. Granted, it's effectively only 4 characters to farm since anyone going for it likely already had HK completed, but still.

Then it was decided to delay it at night and no word until the next afternoon.

They deserve criticism for it.

They gave a very clear statement on Monday saying that there was a 1-2 week window where the event would launch. They are still very much in that window. Seems legit.

Has anyone else noticed that the wording has changed it the dev post? The "diffcult" language is gone.
