Not really sure why cg doesn't allow you to use your own thrawn and cap ship, and to top it off what they give you to use is g12 no mods thrawn? Against negotiator? That is dumb, ls geo you get to use...

There's plenty of TB battles in all versions of it where you are locked into specific comps. I don't see what the issue is for this one specific phase of ships. You can use your Mal in P3 and P4 now that they fixed it. P2 is locked to the cap ship they want you to use. It's fine.
