They are trying to kill the game. They have such great potential long term moneymaker, the game could be amazing if they listened to what the player want. Like more ships, player vs player. But instead they will kill the game. It’s been fun but if they do this I predict a mass exodus. I am not spending another dime until I see if this change happens. Because why spend on a dead game?
It’s also very possible Disney is killing the license if this deal goes through. Disney is under no obligation to continue the license with the new owner. The new firm also once bought a crap ton of Disney investment and 7 months later sold all their interest in Disney. There’s a little bad blood there.
If they have already purchased Pokemon Go and the parent company behind Monopoly Go then I expect very little change in how CG run things, both games are still popular and have not seen significant changes.
