Amazing how CG never makes it easy to gear characters if you completely ignore the multiple ways they make it easy to gear characters in one stroke in favor of focusing on the one way they make it a little harder.
Fact of the matter is CG's consistently added more sources of stuff to the game over the years, but the playerbase laser focuses on the small setbacks.
They’ve def started making the grind easier, and since this is the first post relic release I’m not yet expecting the flood gates to open up on gear. CG has gotta get that paper after all!
If the new path forward for unlocking toons will be a soft requirement of R4/5 relics though (or playing an event for hours waiting for RNG if you’re lower), then G13 should be become as easy to get as G11 is now, IMO.
I’d imagine that’s what’s going to be a part of the rewards for the new TB and new Raid early next year. Maybe throw in a new tier in challenges too to round out the old Gear crunch and make Relics the new bottleneck.
