I want yoda in august---I will be able to have 5 7* Jedi by then, I have 4 atm (mace, qgj, jka, lumi) and will have Ahsoka there by the end of the week. However, my empire team is nowhere near 7* and is honestly total trash besides palp and Vader right now. I need more than a month to farm empire after I finish with my rebels in order to get r2. So if yoda comes next, I can 7* him and spend all the time leading up to his event on empire shards instead of farming Jedi shards.
