It's even more annoying when you spend crystals to refresh battle timer just to find out someone else battle-locked you.
Had something like that happen. I was number 2. And there where 4 min left. Refreshed right after i came out of combat and wanted to star another so that i did not get sniped. Found out that number 4,3 and 1 was allready in battle and could not do anything... Got sniped :'(
That will teach you to be too clever for your own good. Lol.
