Overlay overkill

For the love of all things moist...get rid of those stupid kitten things.  Reminds me of late 90's Netscape Navigator with all those confounded popups...

    Amen!! At least give us a way to disable it if we don't want to loose 30% of our screen constantly when using smaller phone and mobile devices.
