I see a lot of “everything’s beating executor.” Where’s the proof. I HAVE beaten it using mal, and home one, it is FAR from reliable, and when executor is up to 7 star I’m literally 2-13 against it so far with testing. I have not tried negotiator yet, and have heard very little that’s been promising.
If it’s so terrible on defense, why aren’t they being targeted and dropped out of top spots everywhere in arena?
It autos everything, and holds very well. I don’t know what else you wanted, that’s top of the meta, 100%.
Mine got dropped out of top spot in arena in less than 5 minutes. It's all anecdotal.
From what it looks like, executor on defense is very similar to malevolence (in style, not talking about power): none of the starting ships are that fast (some are slow!) and the capital ship kinda sits there and lets the fleet get wailed on. Similar to a malevolence (especially low star one) with HT starting, executor can be beaten by g12 rebels (and of course rebels can always be cursed with bad RNG).
But as long as executor starting lineup isn't settled, and the counter strategies aren't settled and known, of course some lineups will be easier to beat for some fleets, and plenty of unskilled counters will fail.
What we know is that executor has immense strengths, but also has very strange synergy that doesn't flow yet like other fleets, has a relatively slow fleet, and a wonky ability order (and depending on scenario kinda useless special abilities so it uses a basic). Oh, and that users were forced to r8 Piett even though that makes the turn order junky.
