Explain what "enough time to farm for Thrawn" means please

I am f2p and get top five in arena everyday. I am 20 shards short of 5 star kanaan today. I don't have enough time by the 15th when Thrawn comes for anything close to 6 star. So how is this enough...

I don't disagree that she would help, but there's a world of difference between "it would be easier to have her" and "impossible to unlock without spending money" which is what the previous poster said.
