Farming is a joke.

Farming is more like a prank than a joke, although I'm gonna call it. They put a higher than normal droprate on Brood Alpha. Who else sensed that?

You don't need to help me, my account is as perfect as it can get with the amount of resources I earn. The only issue is mods which clearly I can't do anything about, I'm doing all I can but results aren't guaranteed. Another mythic I ended up with nothing but a +10 on a potency mod.

Even if I became a millionaire I'll refuse to spend a penny on the game for only one reason, the mod system. Completely flawed and trash design that hurts the game tremendously and no matter how well geared your characters are, mods limit them to a stupid degree. If they changed how mods work I would consider spending some cash, until then they can have their pixels to themselves

You keep bringing up that you should pay. But you won't spend money. Instead you complain about everything. If you don't want to spend, don't. But keep it to yourself

There are no guarantees in life, Baldy. If stats were guaranteed it would ruin the game. These "whales" would just max all mods and you'd be complaining about how it should be more random so people can't buy maxed mods. Am I right?

Unfortunately that wouldn't really help. Once you get further in the game, you basically need at least +15s on the rest of your squads too.

Not for me, my brood farming is, I would say, a bit worse than the average cantina farm, he isn't even 6 stars yet

I’ve gotten a couple +20 mods the last couple months.

You might just be really unlucky, which I know must hurt.

That wouldn't help. If everyone could get great mods than those who pay will spend and get better mods. At least now as random as it is there is no way to pay for the best speed secondaries.

I do precisely 0 refreshes because I must also farm g13. I spend all my energy doing nothing but challenges for speed mods and I farm precisely 0 slicing mats because I don't get enough chystals to spare. I buy any gold or purple mod that shows 5 or if it's speed set I may buy a 4. I upgrade anything that's green/blue/purple/gold that shows speed, even the +3 to level 12. I upgrade green and grey to level 6 in case they show speed. I slice the ones that have have the highest chance to get me a +20+

So let's break down farmed mods. Things have changed, but let's say we've both been mod farming for one year. I very rarely farm slicing, you never do, so let's say neither of us does just to simplify it. Let's also assume neither of us ever misses our bonus 45 energy mid-day.

I do 3x refreshes every single day. 3x = 360 energy x 365 days = 131,400 more mod energy. Divided by 16 energy per mod, I have farmed 8,212 more mods than you (I dropped the half mod in your favor).

Read that again. In the past year I've farmed over 8,000 more mods than you. Why wouldn't I deserve better mods?

They didn't.

Earning 400 crystals is cake for most f2p thanks to ships. This would cost you 150 crystals. Problem solved.

EDIT: But so what? Spending shouldn't buy an advantage?

Gear drop rates and shard drop rates are noticeably less. If they’re controlling these drop rates or changing them they need to tell us.

1 the game that’s not about managing resources isn’t working wonderfully due to mods

2 people who pay , shouldn’t get better stuff.

3 I will pay if they make it so that paying gets you good mods. This will make it so that it is easier to compete with people who are currently paying.
