I for one am pleased with the outcome... whales can't flat out buy 7* chimara... well they can, but 15 shards at a time. This gives them a competitive edge over players like myself that probably have the drop on most everyone else from my ship farming tactics... below...

I remember once upon a time back in late spring of 16' (guild & mods launch) i was called a fool for not putting a laser focus on my arena team or pit team... i decided to gear every hero i unlocked to g7 and lv 50 and mod them... now thats finally paid of with TB... was nice to already have every rebel unlocked and decently geared...

And i did the same thing with ships... I'm not gonna have 7* ships to do any of the 7* capitol ships... but i will definitely unlock the chimara and possibly with some luck on ghost/phantom drops... get 6* chimara...

Now it may take another cycle (1 per month?) or 2 or 3 to get enough ships 7* to start earning those shards towards 7* capitol ships... but i should get them all at the same time!

Thrawns is a legendary event, which means you can get him 7* if you have 7* rebel ships that include Ghost and Phantom 2.

The others are coming around monthly and will give 15 shards per.

You also need 7* Home one to get 7* Chimaera. So you cannot separate these events. The problem is that Home one event comes every month, Chimaera legendary event - not.
