Fleet platoons

A hint to CG: if you want us to buy a ship, perhaps you should make it a useful one. Noones going to buy something solely for the platoons, it just creates frustration.

Agreed, this is yet another statement by CG that only P2P players really matter. For shame.

I only have money allocated to spend on Rose. Give her a ship for platoons and then maybe I'd buy it. But making two unfarmable ships necessary to complete even just two platoons and subsequently affecting our star ability in TB is just lame and sounds like something that the people who made Battlefront 2 would do.

Yeah - Generally, many of us WILL spend cash.... but it has to be on something worth buying... We're not totally stupid...

There is no official stance on how many platoons can or cannot be filled by non marquee toons. Any ability to fill 3 and 4 platoons is pure luck, and due to the fact that not as many DS toons have been released.

Ever since they made the changes to put marquee toons in platoons. You should just not expect them to be filled and be happy when they are. It is the way it is, you are not being punished, this is an advantage that they pay for and has been since the system was changed a while ago.

please reread my post the platoons for characters you can always fill platoons 3 and 4. They do not put new marquee characters in the third and fourth platoons! EVER! This gives guilds who are F2P a chance at getting a bonus. My post is about fleet platoons they should do the same as the do for character platoons. And I recall a long time ago they did take a stance on that. Because if they didn’t then many people would not give a rats hind end about doing TB.

I agree, if we ships are going to be rolled out the fleets need a fix to platoons. There just are not enoug ships for it to not regularly block fleet platoons and let’s be honest Strafing Run makes the combats below much much harder for players with younger rosters.

So please adjust it to match ground platoons where you always get 3 & 4 excluding new characters, or let’s at least make getting a single
Platoon useful beyond sheer points.

Also it seems like this shouldn’t be a hard fix since it’s already been done before to ground platoons.

No disrespect intended, but I have never seen you agree with a post like this. When someone complains about something, your response is always its ok, its not broken, its working as intended, its not a problem ,etc.
