Fleets are totally broken

Hello!

I'm in the top 20 in the fleet arena on my server. However it's impossible to finish in the top 5 by the end of the day. In the morning I climb up easily, and just minutes before the rewards are distributed everyone is battling. Once I was second 7 minutes before rewarding time, and someone kept battling me until the very last 20 seconds, just to let me down to 6th place. Seriously, this is broken. The AI is dumb in the fleet arena, needs to learn a lot, thus it's easy to defeat any other fleet.

THere should be a limit about battling only once in the hour before rewarding time. Or maybe giving everyone the best place reward they reached that day. But this is just broken and completely frustrating. Seing that I can be top 5, yet always finish around 20th.

    Perhaps plan when you do your battles? Rather than leaving 7 mins leave 2 then 1. Just a thought but everybody plays the same system. If you can make top 5 them make top 5 with less time left. Being rewarded for highest spot you made would just make somebody hit number 1 then set garbage in any arena set up. Right now it takes good squads strategies and planning with some luck so I think it works good

    That's funny that happens in fleet arena. The prize differential is so insignificant that you'd think people wouldn't bother wasting their time,

    So because people battle at the last minute, the game is broken? It seems like you have more of a problem with people. Stop whining.

    Yes, I do try to battle 7 minutes before the rewarding time, but everyone is already in battle. The system may not be broken, but the whole leaderboard abuses it.
    Also yeah, the prize different is minimal, unless you want to develop a new ship, because it's not the same if you get 100K or 200K for that every day.

    If I had to guess all of you abused the system this way...

    You should have started your last fight 10 minutes before payout time, and just wait for timer to run out. This will lock in your position at 2nd place, unless your fleet is so trash that people can defeat you in under 3 minutes anyway.

    Once I finished fighting one and a half minute before rewarding time. My fleet power is 90'000. 10 seconds before rewarding I was defeated by a guy with a fleet power of 80'000. I know, probably a cheater.

    However all your suggestions were about playing a daring game about who dares to attack the closest to the deadline. It's not a strategy game anymore like this... The AI is dumb in the fleet arena, anyone can defeat any fleet, strategy counts no more here....
