So I got KRU to G9, 6*. Not much I know, but he is surprisingly viable at such a low level. I zetad his lead. I have zkylo, zFOTFP, and plasma at G12. I have tried many combinations of this team and the damage just is not there, even under KRU zeta lead. ZKylo is a beast but still low damage, nothing a nihilius can’t take care of on his second annihilate. zFOTFP is a poor mans han; Less damage, no stun, no group buff. Plasma is garbage and my G11 FOO is a squishy liability. I am very disappointed. Why can’t we get a full DS faction that is viable in arena? The only one we ever had was Sith. Zvader also if you count that one month they were viable. Hopefully FO can prove to be viable in raids or DS tb but I am so bummed right now. I’m sure KRU will prove useful as a second tank but no return to grace for FO by any means.

They’re probably better for GW and the upcoming ds tb

They certainly aren't going to take arena by storm as is. We may see an additional toon or two for them, so who knows!But as is yeah, not CLS toppling. They also lose handily to empire. Don't agree with the ferver, but you're not wrong.

Going in without crit hit immunity is suicide. For the given chars we have right now; Phasma zeta lead > Kylo lead.An autotaunter with somewhat okay protection recovery for the rest of them and just another damage dealing character who doesn't do more than just dealing damage, isn't enough to face the current meta. The first order is lacking utility, big ones and not minor things like buff immunity or speed down. Phasma/FOO/FOST are absolutely terrible with or without their zeta's.

Ya I agree. My empire team falls farther than my CLS team it’s just frustersting that a $250+ new toon, with a 5+ zeta team doesn’t hold any weight to the meta. I get hyped about DS characters and get them early (my fault) only to have buyers remorse. It’s less about “this shouldnt happen for the money” situation and more about “why can’t DS be good at arena in this game”

I haven’t posted in awhile but thought the lack of realistic reviews, this deserved to be seen for anyone excited, like I was for some DS viability. $220, lots of gear, and 40 zeta mats down the drain as of right now

I see krum as being more of a stand alone toon...like dn, thrawn, rex... Thrown into the mix with several meta toons.
