Profundity Event

Always on the last day of the month, every month.  But you won't see the event in your Event table, you need to go to the Journey guide to do the initial unlock battle.  Once you unlock it, then you will see the recurring event monthly

Perfectly explained! I’m pretty excited, because I’ve finished up Cassian’s prerequisite and am ready for the next event! The LSTs have helped loads with grinding for the prerequisites.

Please watch videos on how to complete each tier with the correct ships and kill order.  It's very RNG, and mod your pilots.  Hope you saved crystals to do max attempts on Operation Stardust.

Uh oh… I might be in trouble. I’ll probably won’t be able to get past the second battle because I don’t have a 5 star outrider yet. I’ll just play it each month as I farm for outrider, also I’m farming for Rogue One as well.

Don't be too excited. The event is insanely hard and you're just at the mercy of RNG. Just another CG cash grab T_T

Because just being eligible isn't enough and rng murders you, you need more relics than you initially thought. So you either slowly grind or just pull the wallet. Are you new here?

No, I’ve been playing for 10 years. I had no issue unlocking Profundity, and that was before the event became simmable so I had to play it manually every single time. 

Maybe I’m just not a bad player?

Not one word of what you said is remotely true, unless you're incredibly bad a this game

You have to adjust your fleet comp to match what you are facing.  Once you have the right ships, and they are all 7* with modded pilots, the event is manageable.  As I said below, if you are having issues, watch the videos guides on what starfighters and cargo ships to use for each battle.  There is no hidden cost, other than don't try to crystal refresh  level Profundity outside of the event.  Each refresh during event is 999 crystals vs 1250 or something insane.
