Anyone else notice the forest moon event is ungodly hard this time around? Considering I was able to three star Tier II previously... it seems silly I can't even complete Tier I at all. Is it mayb...

I think you are right OP.
On wave 8 of the bonus tier one of my Troopers actually took damage from Chirpa.
There are many ways to skin those little Murder Bears.
Back when I first started, Forest Moon was incredibly hard. Now, it is a joke how easy it is.
Also, for what's is worth, I think tier 1 is overtuned and tier 2 and the bonus tier are undertuned.
There is very little difference between the difficulty levels IMO.
