Kanan and Ezra were Rebels and 'Jedi' at the same time.
K2SO was a droid (I mean thats just like saying someone is a human) and also happened to be a Rebel. By your logic he should also be Empire because he was an Imperial Droid.
Old Ben fought Vader and helped Luke because he needed luke to survive to defeat Vader and become the last jedi, not because he was part of the rebellion.
