(Future) Era Ideas...

     Hi!  My gaming name is GodIsOnTheMove, and I have been an active player of Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes for a little under a year now.  I have no clue if player recommendations are taken into account during the process of choosing Era characters, but I have two different teams that I think would be kind of cool to see play out.  (Both teams are inspired from the Star Wars: The Clone Wars show.)

Team 1 (3v3 Arena):
     "The Ones," commonly called the "Mortis gods," could make for a powerful team of force wielders.  To those less familiar, the Mortis gods were featured in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Season 3, Episode 15... and consisted of "The Father," "The Daughter," and "The Son."  The Son was the embodiment of the Dark Side of the Force, the Daughter was the embodiment of the Light Side of the Force, and the Father was the embodiment of balance between both the Dark Side and Light Side of the Force.  (To those of you who are more knowledgeable in Star Wars lore, you should tell me if I am wrong or right since I am only about 90% certain I am correct in saying that.)  Mainly, I think that it would be fun because of a game mechanic that could be introduced with them... which would be trying to keep balance in the Force.  I will explain what I mean by that.  If, let's say, you use the Son's Dark Side abilities more and tip the balance of the force toward the Dark Side, two things happen:
          1. All Dark Side characters become stronger (both on your team and on the opposing team).
          2. All Light Side characters become weaker (both on your team and on the opposing team).
     (It would work the other way around as well.)  This could play to your advantage either by intentionally keeping the force balanced and keeping your allies alive longer, or by letting one side of the Force win out and some of your allies fall while your other allies become much stronger.  I haven't thought through it fully yet, but it would be a really cool thing to see in the game.

Team 2 (5v5 Arena)
     D-Squad... need I say more?  Yes... yes, I do.  First of all, this team is found in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Season 5, Episodes 10-13.  D-Squad consisted of many people, so it could take a full Era by itself!  Members include: Colonel Meebur Gascon, R2-D2, QT-KT, U9-C4, M5-BZ, WAC-47, and Clone Commander Gregor.  (You already have R2-D2 in the game, so the other 6 would be the new characters.)  I just think it would be interesting to see a Galactic Republic, Light Side Droid team that works well... besides, it is an excuse to add in a clone many people would recognize and be excited for.
