Future of the Guild Events Store

Some time ago, the devs made a statement that the Galactic War Store, Squad Arena Store and Cantina Store would not be receiving any new characters. This statement gave elder players the green-light to go ahead and spend those currencies on shards for the shard shop rather than hoarding in preparation of a new toon being added.

I would appreciate it if the devs could provide that same type of confirmation for the Guild Events Store. Will new rare characters be added to this store, or will hYoda and Wampa be the only ones??

Just got both 7*d recently and want to know if I'm clear to buy gear or if I need to hoard for the next big thing.
