What you (and CG) are calling a 5 week exhibition...complete with bugs, questionable match making and poor rewards is really just "hundreds of thousands of free beta testers poorly compensated."
You saw they said they are actively seeking beta testers, this is just par for the course.
They prob have a staff of 5 max who actually write code.
