- ccmoose3 years agoRising Novice@Lumiya I think you may be trying to raise some valid concerns with the GAC experience. Others have mentioned those concerns are valid and exist. However, you are piggybacking on a thread by a petulant whiner. Which gets to what @CCyrilS was saying; too many folks are whining just to whine, which drowns out any possible constructive criticism.
Unfortunately, that's just the way these forums work. If you tried to start your own post with constructive feedback, it'd get overrun by whiners whose complaints are not well founded. For example, in another thread, someone explained why they'd really like a practice mode. He was railroaded by people attacking his disposition that led to the desire for a practice mode rather than the merits of the practice mode itself.
Given what we've seen from CG in other game modes, I wouldn't hold out hope for any meaningful improvements to the GAC experience. We get what the whales are willing to pay for, which is more packs and minimal effort ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ "Starslayer;c-2356502" wrote:

So if something is irrelevant to us but seems relevant to others I see no problem in them bringing it up.
"I face rosters so strong so if they decide to play i can't win" and "matchmaking is a joke" are not the same thing.
Where did I say that? I think you know exactly what I mean."Ragnarok_COTF;c-2356508" wrote:

I get you, I really do. I also get CCyrilS, even if we disagree on something, I understand it. ?
But isn't it on everyone themselves then, how they construe something that is being said and by whom? As you said, if you start an own thread others can write in there too and derail it. If you write in someone else's thread, same rules apply.
All we, as users, can do is to filter what is being said or meant and by whom and why.- matthewsaada3 years agoRising Novice
Srly 3.6 GP vs 7.6mil GP....is whinnets rong? Is like ummm u put one boxer 65 kg vs one broker 130 heavy.......
I'm sure this guy felt the same at first but 4.3 vs 7.4 and down 2 GLs to 1 but came home with the win. - I’m in Kyber 2 and am regularly going against players with 1million GP more than me.

I find this lack of civility disturbing. I’m not a liar nor a troll (well, i may be fat and smelly, but not green).
I will try to make myself clearer in case i did understand you the first time: If someone writes that mm doesn’t work and cg doesn’t care, based on a mm vs a stronger roster, debate is opened and can be heated. However, if someone writes that they have a hard time because they face stronger rosters and/or they’re not having fun, i don’t see how it’s debatable as it’s a personal feeling. So in this case, i could agree with what you wrote (if i understood it). - matthewsaada3 years agoRising Novice

I'll admit there may be some issues with accounts that fall to the bottom. But the vast majority of complaints regarding GAC are not that. It's post after post of "wahhh 3m vs 5m... more GLs....waahhh" those whiners are clearly detracting from any actual issues that may exist.
In a very general sense many people here are quick to argue points that may not "seem" to directly affect them because 1. The complainer is just plain wrong and doesn't understand something. Or 2. There can actually be indirect effects caused by too much complaining.
Real issues will survive the scrutiny and eventually become evident. But like I said, it's the sea of ignorant whiners that bury actual issues.

I’m 130kg and will probably lose versus a 65kg boxer. - Screerider3 years agoNew Adventurer

Yeah. The 130kg guy doesn't know how to box if he's being matched against a 65kg guy who does. - Anedoctal "evidence"...but i haven't been "cleared" in GAC for at least 9 matches in a row or so...and usually playing opponents +1M above me (i am under 4M)...i would lose many matches, but would usually have at least one surviving team.
Yesterday i was cleared...opponent actually had roughly the same power as i do...(i lost because i could not clear one enemy team...Qui Gon in rear)
There is more to winning and losing than roster...
