I believe the answer to GK + Barriss is Nihilus lead and some beefy sith buddies to back him, say Palpatine, Vader, Savage, and whoever else you got. Nihilus prevents your team from doing Critical Damage. Without crits, GK will not taunt, and that automatic healing from Barriss disappears. GK is still tough, but if you can keep Nihilus alive long enough, he can drop that Barriss, and then the rest gets much easier.
