She could be the greatest thing since the sliced bread, that doesn't change the fact that she is nothing more than another rebel in a game over-saturated with rebels.
Kind of hard not to make Rebels since the majority of characters in Cannon who actually have names are Rebels. If it's not Rebels it will be tons of Jedi from the Prequels.
That is such a load of crap. They have plenty of other named characters that are not rebels they could add if they wanted to, many of them more popular than Ahsoka: Jabba, the original Fett, Padme, Jar Jar, Droideka, Revan etc.
Even from the source material they added her they could have picked Thrawn, Grand Inquisitor, Governor Pryce or Kallus.
Also if the lore was so important to them they wouldn't have made R2 one of the fastest toons in the game.
