Also they should have GW more interactive, the single path is pretty one dimensional and dry. If you could choose to go down a harder path for better rewards or a normal path for average rewards or an easy path with lower rewards
I could be way off but I can see the intent that was desired with using player developed teams GW was meant to push players into developing a bigger roster of players to complete it, just read the rules. The problem is no one is doing that. So yeah you see same characters over and over.
IMO, which I can already hear the no's coming, if EA wanted to use GW to force players in to using more characters the number of nodes should be limited by the number of teams you can form at a certain level. You can use a character twice if they made it out of the first node, and just like now all health and cooldowns carry over. Character would then go in to a 2 node cooldown. Opponents would be computer generated all with synergies. Rewards would increase thru the nodes.
